Instructor
Cate Fisher
Cate began her dance journey at the age of two in a local studio near Richmond, Indiana. After a family move, she found her home studio in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where she started competing and training ballet at a pre-professional level. Cate has experience in a variety of styles including lyrical, contemporary, modern, tap, hip-hop, and ballroom. Some highlights from her time at this studio include dancing leading roles in The Nutcracker such as Clara and The Sugar Plum Fairy. She has also competed all over the country at regional and national levels, leading to two National Championships for her solos in 2019 and 2024.
Cate has been teaching and choreographing for four years, both for herself and others. Some highlights include winning Best Choreography, First Overall Senior Advanced Solo, and Highest Score of the Competition with her self-choreographed solo piece. As far as other works go, her choreography has led to first overall in the D1 dance team solo division as well as multiple placings for her students at competitions.
She also values being a well-rounded individual and educator as well. Along with continued community service and volunteering, Cate is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also a member of the clubs Optima Dance and Women’s Pre-Law Association.
Cate loves to dance and looks forward to fostering the love of dance in students at Studio 360. Her goal is to not only make students the best dancers they can be, but also the best people they can be. She is ecstatic to continue her teaching journey and can’t wait to join the Studio 360 family!
